Hydraulic Bolt Tensioners - 1500 Bar System

The 1500 bar system combines high load capacity with light weight tooling. Engineered from high strength steel alloys to provide unparalleled safety and tool life, these tools are ideal for fast, accurate and reliable bolt tensioning of standard flanges.

 

Tensioners are available from 3/4” to 4” plus the full range of metric sizes and are extremely versatile. Each hydraulic head is capable of accommodating up to 8 metric and imperial threadforms with the standard adaptor equipment supplied.

 

Available to fit all of the most popular flange classes (including ANSI 16.5, API 605, MSS SP44, etc.), these tensioners can easily be customized to suit special applications.

Economy Foundation Tensioner

 

Interchangeable Foundation Stud Tensioner designed for Williams or Dyson wind tower
foundation studs. Economy design offers ease of use by utilizing an existing foundation
stud hex nut. Includes a common load cell and interchangeable tensioner base
(75/90#11, 75/#10, 150-M36.) Pressure advance, spring return, single port, 21,750
psi (1500 bar) maximum operating pressure, single stage design, and ratchet style nut
rotator. Includes a positive stop to prevent over stroking.

Hydraulic Flexible Tool Range - Sub Sea Tooling

Split Reaction Nut

 

The standard sub sea tool range incorporates a combined body and bridge, lifting eye bolt, 30 mm piston stroke, 1500 bar operating pressure, twin hydraulic connections, a maximum piston stroke indicator and a split reaction nut. Lower cost solid reaction nuts are also available. These tools are fitted with composite material high pressure seals which clip into place and require no adjustment.

 

All tools are assembled, filled with oil and pressure tested prior to dispatch. They are also designed to conform to the European Pressure Equipment Directive and where required are CE marked and are supplied with a comprehensive Health & Safety Operating and Maintenance Instruction Manual.

 

Standard tools are fitted with two self sealing quick connectors. This can be either two nipples or one coupling and one nipple. Customer should specify when ordering.
